I absolutely, positively loved Twilight! Of course it was not better than the books. But, that was to be expected. And some of the special effects were not up to par. But, who cares! It's budget was only 38million, or something. I loved all of the cast, they did an awesome job. Especially Robert Pattinson as Edward. :) Love him. So that's all that I'm going to say. I loved it and I'm going to see it again this weekend. haha

Oh I love my little Batman. Halloween was great this year. Well Luke actually went trick or treating with his Dad. But, our family did our Halloween party the week before. It's always so much fun with all the kids dressed up. As soon as Luke puts on this costume he is in character, and doesn't get out until he takes it off. It's hilarious. He even talks like Christian Bale does in the movie.
My new job is going great. Luke is still liking school... for the most part. He will be turning 5 in less than a month. It's crazy, I'm going to have a 5 year old. He is so sweet, and he has the biggest heart. And he is freakin hilarious, everything that comes out of his mouth makes me laugh. Especially when writing my dad a note telling him to watch out for the storm troopers, then saying I love you, in the name of Jesus Christ amen. What a sweetheart.
I'm off to Vegas for the weekend for my friend Carlee's birthday. Excited to get away, but I will miss my little man.
Glad the election is over, and I'm very happy with the outcome. (that's all I'm saying, I'm off politics for a while :) )
Oh and I'm going to see Twilight the movie at midnight next Thursday.... I will be so tired the next day at work, but it will be worth it. I can not wait for this movie! It's gonna be awesome.

I hope you all went out and voted today! This is such an important day, and I am so proud to say that I am going to vote. This country needs a huge change, I hope whichever candidate ends up being our new president can step up to the plate and actually do some of the things they say they will.

Little boys are just the best! I have so much fun with my boy. He amazes me everyday. This is a picture my dad took of him when he was going to church with Lizzie. He's so handsome!

We had a great weekend. Luke had a sleepover with Alex on Friday, it was so much fun. Yesterday Luke and I just ran errands and then we went out to dinner with my mom and dad, Lizzie and Taylor, and Ashley showed up for a bit. It was Luke's idea to go to the Mexican restaurant La Cocina. He was very persuasive. It was hilarious. So we had to go.

Other then that not much going on. I'm looking forward to my annual trip to Bear Lake with my friends over the 24th. I'm seriously so excited! I need a vacation. :)

Ok so Luke is at Primary with Lizzie right now, he was so excited to go. He even left his new church shoes out by the front door last night, so cute! I thought I would get a little post in while he was gone. I got this cute idea from my friend Andrea. So here are a few of my favorite things right now...

Weight watchers cookies and cream ice cream bars, yum-o! They look weird, but they are so good! I would eat them even if I wasn't attempting to count points. Attempting being the key word there. :)

Sunscreen, and not just any sunscreen. This spray stuff. I love it! It doesn't make a mess, works great. And I love the smell of it. Aly reminded me that it smells like Halloween hairspray. :)

I love this movie! Probably my favorite movie of the year. I know it came out last year but I just barely saw it like a month ago. Phenomenal. Go see it, if you haven't already. Oh yeah and the soundtrack is also amazing it is all done by Eddie Vedder, I have most of it on my blog already.

Coldplay- Viva la Vida, Death cab for cutie- Narrow Stairs, and Vampire Weekend. All three are amazing albums. I am loving them right now.

Iced green tea lemonade from Starbucks, SO good! Anyone that likes green tea and lemonade I highly recommend them. Great on a hot summer day.

Summer is finally here...

I have mixed emotions about summer finally being here. On one side I'm way excited and on the other, it's freakin hot out! I guess I'm never happy about the weather... whatever. :)
So I went camping again this weekend, I am really starting to love it. I could go every weekend. Other then that not much going on. Luke and I have been enjoying going to movies, playing outside, and just hanging out. He is such an amazing kid. I learn something new from him every day.
Check out my countdown to Breaking Dawn... I'm way too excited for this book. I can't believe it's less than 40 days until we find out that Bella becomes a vampire. :) haha ok I only wish. I love Edward... I'm done being a dork.

Luke's first camping trip...

Last weekend I took Luke on his first camping trip. I know, weird huh? I would have never thought I would've been the one to take him. Not that I don't love going camping, but usually I can only handle about one day and I don't love getting that dirty :) We had so much fun. My friends loved having him there. We went fishing, shooting(that part he absolutley loved, don't worry, my friends were very careful) ate hot dogs and made smores. I loved our little getaway. Can't wait until I can take him somewhere again. He is the best kid, and I have so much fun with him.
As you can tell I only have one song on my playlist... man I love this song. I get so excited when the itunes commercial comes on. I can't wait until the album comes out. Ash, I know you said you don't really like Coldplay anymore, I think you should give them another chance. :)

Yep, you heard me right. I'm done with that show... Michael Johns who was my favorite was voted off last night. Crooked show... votes don't really matter. People with no talent stay on there forever and the one's with real talent get voted off. Lame. Ok, I still like Carly, both David's and sometimes Jason. But I just had to vent. :)

I thought I would switch up my layout... I was getting so sick of looking at it. Maybe that's why I was getting so burned out on blogging.

Ok so next wednesday is my birthday (the big 24) So let's just say I'm getting ready for a pre mid-life crisis or metal breakdown. I actually would prefer the crisis, because doesn't that mean I buy a cool new car, or lose a bunch of weight etc.???? I know 24 isn't old but for some reason that is sounding a ton older. Maybe it's because on top of turning 24 I have a 4 year old. :) I am excited for my birthday though.

So I have a request... does anyone have any good new music?? Good being the key word there :)
You know when you just get sick of listening to the same old shiz all the time and you need to get a couple new cd's???? Well I could definitely use some right now. Also I'm looking for some music to workout to. Suggestions are all appreciated...

I'm going to Vegas my birthday weekend and then Chicago the end of April. Yep I said Chicago, I couldn't stay away for very long. I love that place. Life is really great right now.

1. I have double jointed fingers and toes...
2. I love diet coke.
3. I am really sarcastic, sometimes I don't realize it and I hurt people's feelings
4. I love laughing
5. I was scared of my sister Aly growing up. One time I wore an outfit to school that Chris gave her, she ran after me saying she was going to kill me. So I hid in the bathroom and told my mom. This is so funny because she is such a sweet person now. :)
6. I use to get ear infections all the time. Thinking back it was probably because Aly told me to put a heart shaped bead in my ear because it was a bell tone hearing aid.... big mistake. A month later I had to go to the Dr. to get it taken out because I was in such pain. (Sorry Aly I'm done)
7. Giving birth to Luke was so easy I would do it a lot more one day. :) I just don't want all the kids ha ha
8. my favorite colors are black and red.
9. I don't really like chocolate, so my family thinks i'm not really a Durham girl... and I don't like naps.
10. I hate shopping at TJ Max, Nordstrom rack, and kohls etc. Not that I hate a good deal I just hate searching for things.
11. I love my date nights with Luke. He really is the best kid. I love him so much.
12. I love going to the movies, or renting them.
13. I love going out to new restaurants, not that I usually try new things I just like new places.
14. I absolutely love the Fall
15. I hate Winter
16. I love going shopping by myself.
17. I love getting new makeup.
I can't stand people who can walk in public places... meaning they stop right in front of you or they walk really slow and don't pay attention to who's behind them.
18. I would love to be a labor and delivery nurse.

22. Speaking of school... In junior high I told my shop teacher I was deaf in one ear that's why I was so loud in class... He believed me and also gave me a C instead of an F. Ha Ha

24. I hate spiders. One night years ago a spider landed on my head and I ran downstairs freaking out... no one believed me until I found a crumpled up spider a day later. Sick.....
25. When I was little I wanted to be in a band. So glad I'm out of that grunge phase.

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, I haven't had much to post about.....
So last night I saw my favorite guy ever... Joel McHale! He is the host of the Soup on the E! channel. Wow he was freaking hilarious. Such a great night, and then after the show he met everyone on our way out the door. My friend Jen and I wore shirts that said I heart Joel McHale.... He loved them. We took a picture with him (which i'll post later when I get it) and I hugged him twice. :) I seriously love him.

Ok so I recently found a new love of reading. Yes i'm almost 24 years old and just barely figured out that I love reading. I'll admit it even though it's kind of embarrassing. Oh well, So my point to this post is does anyone have any great books that they would like to reccomend to me? Currently I am reading A Thousand Splendid Suns... can't think of the author's name, but he wrote The Kite Runner. Hope everyone had an amazing Holiday season. I know I did, but i'm glad it's over. I'm so ready for spring.... I can't take this winter anymore. Peace.

Happy Birthday Kendyl!! I had such a great time at her party tonight. I got into trouble from Lizzie for not posting on here for like a month, i made the mistake of saying i was "over" blogging. She thought it was pretty funny to keep asking me why i was over blogging until Aly heard her. I think i hurt Aly's feelings. So i'm sorry Aly. :)
Anyways... the reason i haven't posted anything is because i haven't had much post worthy stuff going on. We've just been getting ready for Christmas and that's about it. Merry Christmas everyone!!! and no i don't want to say Happy Holidays... At least this year i won't make the same mistake of telling my friend Jordan Merry Christmas... he's a Jehovah's witness. And it's pretty embarrassing when he has to keep telling me it's just another day to him. Wow i'm an idiot.

My dad has done it again.... another really good picture. Even though i'm in it i still like it. Ha Ha.

Tonight i went out to dinner with Meg, Marybeth and some of my old high school girlfriends. We had a good time and it was really fun to catch up with them. Some of them were missing (Brooke you are in trouble) other then that it was really fun. I guess starting January we are going to get together once a month. So that should be fun. It's nice to have some more girlfriends in my life.

Luke's birthday is Monday and I'm really excited. I can't believe I'm going to have a four year old. Life goes too fast. I love him more then anything. He is my best friend.

So this years thanksgiving was so much fun. Good food, good company... can't complain. I really think i gained like 10 pounds just today. Ugh! Oh well operation starvation will just have to start tomorrow... ok who am i kidding it will start after the leftovers are gone :) I am grateful for so many things in my life. My wonderful son. Who really makes each day so much better. He is so amazing, I never knew i could love anyone more and more each day. Also i'm so thankful for my parents who do so much for me. I don't think they will ever know how much i love and appreciate them. Oh and of course my other familia i love them all so much.
I'm also grateful that this year is over... it's been a rough one. But i finally feel like i'm am done with all the crap that was thrown at me. And i can't tell you how happy i am about it. I love life and it's taken me a really long time to get to this point.
Wow... am i rambling or what?!? This is where Black friday comes in. I just got done working at Express. Yes fashion place mall has been open since midnight. So i was there from 11:30 to 3am and i even got off early. Damn i'm tired....

Yeah so i know it's been awhile. I haven't had much going on that was worthy of a post. My life is so good right now... but to be honest it's kind of boring. Well besides everything that happened to my friend Meg. I'm just glad she is alive, it made me realize that all my problems in life are small and ridiculous. And it made me realize how much i love Luke, my family and my friends.

Ok so Aly tagged me.... I'll try and post six interesting things about me. But i don't really have 6 people to tag. Oh well.

1. One of my biggest pet peeves is trying to think of interesting things about myself or things i like to do. For example when i was in school i hated more than anything to introduce myself and say three things i liked to do. Or something like that.

2. Justing Timberlake saw me do an booty shake dance in the hall by the elevator at Hotel Monaco. I did get a little smile out of it. LOL

3. I love bubble gum ice cream from Baskin Robbins. Minus the actual gum. Well i liked Aggie's ice cream version better, but since they are gone Bakin robbins will do.

4. My guilty pleasure tv shows are: The hills, Rock of Love(not on anymore) project runway, america's next top model. And there are many, many more. :)

5. I love more than anything having Luke sleep with me at night, even though he probably should be sleeping in his bed.

6. I love listening to music, and i wish i could all day long.

Yeah they really weren't too interesting... but i'm tired and it's been a long day. :)

I'm finally blogging!!!! After many confrontational conversations with Aly. :) I'm sitting down and figuring out how to use this thing. I'm always on myspace talking to friends. It will be nice to be caught up on what the non myspacers are doing.

Luke is so amazing. Everyday he surprises me on how grown up he is getting. I can't believe he is almost four. I love him so much.
